Have you ever wondered how much an operation costs, how the NHS finds the money to build a new hospital, why we have waiting lists or how much it costs to keep an ambulance on the road?
If your answer is yes then the NHS Finance Function may be an option for you.
We are seeking undergraduates to join us who:
- Have good communication skills
- Can work as a member of a team
- Are good at planning and organising
- Demonstrate an interest with figures/financial calculations
- Can assimilate complex information
- Have ambition and are highly motivated
Work placements will be for a 12 month period commencing between July and September 2012. These positions have a salary of around£13,000 to £14,000 p.a. depending on location. The work placements are based throughout the country – see the application form below for the list of areas that you could be based in.
Experience gained throughout the placement period will add towards CIMA’s, CIPFA’s and ACCA’s practical experience requirements.

The placements are based in Finance Departments at NHS Organisations throughout the East of England (Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk & Suffolk).
